The State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs put together a program on how foreign experts have contributed to China’s development, Aug 5- 25, for civil servants from nine Asian and European countries to give them a better understanding of how China works.

The three-week program, sponsored by the Commerce Ministry, offered lectures and discussions to give the participants an opportunity to learn more about China’s socio-economic development and the organization that deals with foreign experts. They were also able to visit local companies to get a close look at how those entities recuit skilled foreign staff members who contribute to a company’s development.
