Zhou Changkui, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), visited Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School (PKU Shenzhen) on April 16.

Wu Yun, president of PKU Shenzhen, gave a general introduction to the institution. Phillip McConnaughay, dean of PKU Shenzhen’s School of Transnational Law, and Young Joon-Park, assistant to the dean of HSBC Business School, outlined the relationship between their two schools.

Zhou spoke highly of the achievements in international education at PKU Shenzhen, and said that the school should continue to enhance international communications and attract more top-level talents to Shenzhen. Zhou said that SAFEA will launch preferential policies to attract foreign experts to work in China.

PKU Shenzhen, primarily focused on full-time graduate education, is an integral part of PKU's progression toward becoming a world-class university. PKU Shenzhen's goal is to build a leading international PKU campus in Shenzhen, a pioneer city in China’s reform and opening-up policy, based on the academic principles of “New Frontiers, Interdisciplinary Studies, Applied Research and International Standards.”
