SAFEA official meets with Chinese ambassador to Poland and Austria

Yin Chengji, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) held talks with Chinese Ambassador to Poland Xu Jian in Warsaw, Poland, and Chinese ambassador to Austria Li Xiaosi in Vienna, Austria, on Dec 4 and 7.

They exchanged views on China-Poland relations, China-Austria relations, and the latest progress in trade, science and technology, exploring the potential for pragmatic cooperation and expansion of exchanges in all fields.

Yin introduced the domestic situation in China, especially the influx of foreign expertise arising from more active, open and effective policies.

He emphasized that a management system of foreigners employed in China was fully implemented on April 1, 2017. It has streamlined handling procedures and improved practical results, winning widespread attention both at home and abroad.

On Nov 28, the SAFEA issued Measures for the Implementation of the Visa System for Foreign Talents and began providing multiple year, multiple entries visas for foreign high-end talents who meet the standard requirements. He thanked all parties for their long-term support for the on-going introduction of foreign expertise.
