SAFEA administrator meets with Israeli ambassador to China and vice-director of MASHAV

Zhang Jianguo, administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), met with Israeli ambassador to China Zvi Heifetz and MASHAV deputy director Yuval Fuchs in Beijing on Mar 19.

Heifetz thanked Zhang for arranging his visit to Zhejiang in 2017. He said that the cooperation between MASHAV and SAFEA is an important part of China-Israel cooperation and exchanges.

Fuchs said that MASHAV is willing to carry out more extensive and in-depth cooperation with SAFEA.

Zhang expressed his welcome to the Israeli delegation. He described the situation concerning the personnel exchanges between China and Israel since the signing of the cooperation agreement between the SAFEA and Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2016. He also provided details about the NPC and CPPCC and the reform of state institutions in China.

The China Association for International Exchange of Professionals and Infiniti will hold a joint seminar this year, to be promoted by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and SAFEA.

Zhang suggested that the two sides could jointly explore establishment of a Sino-Israeli cooperation park with reference to the cooperation model between Taicang, Jiangsu province and Germany.

The two sides agreed to carry out cooperation in multiple aspects on the basis of the China-Israel government innovative cooperation joint committee.
