SAFEA delegation visits China Agricultural University

Zhou Changkui, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) led a research delegation to China Agricultural University on Mar 14.

Zhou held discussions with Jiang Peimin, Party secretary of China Agricultural University, vice- president Gong Yuanshi, and the heads of functional departments.

Zhou learned about the overall situation of foreign expertise introduction work, the construction of nine “111 bases” (innovation and talent introduction plans of universities and disciplines), and the “Overseas Teacher Project”.

Zhou fully affirmed the achievements of China Agricultural University. He said that it has always been a key supporter of SAFEA. Through this visit, the delegation has a more comprehensive understanding of the status of the foreign expertise introduction work at the university. The SAFEA will continue to support China Agricultural University’s efforts to become a world-class university.

Prof. Gong Yuanshi expressed his gratitude to SAFEA for its support of the university’s international cooperation and talent introduction work.

The university will strengthen the introduction of high-end foreign experts and teachers and provide educational assistance to other countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
