In order to further strengthen the exchange of talents and scientific and technological innovation between China and Japan, Xia Mingjiu, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), led a delegation to Japan from August 30 to 31.

During the visit, Xia held talks with the president of Hiroshima University in Japan, Mitsuo Ochi, and his party, and attended the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the China International Talent Exchange Association and Hiroshima University.

At the invitation of the Japan Science and Technology Promotion Agency, the delegation participated in the fifteenth Japan Innovation and Technology Achievements Matchmaking Meeting, and exchanged opinions on the 2019 China-Japan University Presidents Forum with Japanese experts.
