In accordance with the decision of the State Council’s Administrative Examination and Approval Reform Office, the Employment Permit for Foreigners and the Foreign Expert Work Permit are henceforth integrated into the Foreigner's Work Permit in China.
SAFEA has decided to carry out a pilot program in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanghai, Anhui, Shandong, Guangdong, Sichuan, Yunnan and Ningxia from October 2016 to March 2017.

What are the supervision and complaint channels?
1. Complaints can be made through counter services, telephone calls, emails and letters, which are subject to seperate announcements made by local processing agencies and decision-making bodies handling applications for the Foreigner’s Work Permit. 2. Online compliants: Complaints can be filed online via the Management and Service System for Foreigners Working in China.

What is the quota for foreigner’s Work Permit?
No quota is set for the introduction of high-end foreign talents (Category A); the number of foreign professional talents (Category B) shall be limited based on market demand; and any restriction on ordinary foreigners (Category C) is subject to China’s relevant regulations.
