In order to accelerate the transformation of agricultural S&T results, establish the agricultural technology innovation system and expedite the process of agricultural modernization, MOST, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Water Resources, State Forestry Administration, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Agricultural Bank of China, having extensively solicited the opinions of related departments and localities, jointly formulated the Outline of Development of National Agricultural Science Parks in the 11th Five-Year Period in accordance with the National S&T Development Plan for the 11th Five-Year Period.

The Outline defined the overall thinking, objectives, tasks and work emphasis for the construction and development of agricultural science parks in the 11th Five-Year Period and will guide each province and city to work out their concrete implementation schemes and work plans on the construction of the agricultural science parks in light of the actual situation of local economic and social development.
