Recently Director-General Zhang Xiaoyuan of NCSTE (National Center of S&T Evaluation) and Director Robert D. van den Berg GEF Evaluation Office jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation.

The MOU will be effective for 5 years since the date of execution. Its aim is to enhance the evaluation cooperation, knowledge sharing and ability building of the two sides in the environment field. It mainly includes three areas of cooperation: knowledge sharing on environment issues, the ecologically sustainable development assessment and the building of evaluation ability.
