On 13th December,2007, the signing ceremony of ChangAn’s strategic cooperation with some universities was held in Holiday Inn North Chongqing, marking the official establishment of a strategic cooperation partnership of ChangAn Automobile Group with six universities, namely, Tongji University, Jilin University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Hunan University and Chongqing University.

On the signing ceremony, Vice Minister CAO Jianlin pointed out that automobile industry is a hi-tech industry with fierce competition. The industry-academia-research institute synergy will play an important role in promoting technological innovation of automobiles, complementing and sharing with one another their own advantageous resources.
