The General Expert Panel Meeting on Project of Manufacturing Industry Informatization was held in Beijing lately. The project is sponsored by the National Key Technologies R&D Program.
The informatization of the manufacturing sector has been identified by MOST as a major project in the 11th Five Years. The general expert panel for the project consists of 13 professionals from universities, research institutes, enterprises and other related agencies. The panel gives advice to project contractors on technological development and research priorities, and plays a role in the mid-term assessment.
At the meeting, experts had enthusiastic discussion about the project’s future in the 12th Five Years.
