On November 25th of 2008, MOST and China Everbright Bank signed the Agreement on S&T and Financial Cooperation between MOST & Everbright Bank in Beijing. WAN Gang, Vice-Chairman of CPPCC National Committee and Minister of Science and Technology, and TANG Shuangning, Chairman of China Everbright Group addressed the ceremony. Vice-Minister LIU Yanhua of MOST and President GUO You of Everbright Bank signed the Agreement.

According to the Agreement, the cooperation will befocused on Major S&T Special Projects, 863 Program, National Key Technology R&D Program, International S&T Cooperation Program, and New Product Program, gives priority to projects on energy-conservation and emission reduction, new-energy vehicle, and climate change, providing financing services to S&T SMEs.
