Beidaihe National Touring Exhibition for S&T Achievements, co-sponsored by MOST and the People's Government of Hebei Province, was inaugurated in Qinhuangdao on the afternoon of July 22nd.

With the theme of "improving the innovation capability and accelerating the transformation of development pattern", the exhibition focused on two aspects, i.e., innovation-driven development and technology for public wellbeing. It displayed the high-end projects in "eleventh five-year" national major S&T achievements exhibition, 2010-national-S&T-awards-winning projects and related programs for "twelfth five-year" S&T development, as well as a number of regional innovation results in response to the local development needs.
