Beijing Neutron Scattering Spectrometer Center Explored New Pattern of the Integration and Sharing of Scientific and Technological Resources

The Beijing Neutron Scattering Spectrometer Center, established by the MOST, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the China Institute of Atomic Energy by means of joint construction and sharing, explored a new pattern of integration and sharing of large scientific instruments and apparatuses and realized the first combination ever between a large scientific instrument center and national big science projects.

The combination, on the one hand, diversified the application and service of China Advanced Research Reactors (CARR). On the other, a win-win scenario was realized for the small-angle neutron scattering spectrometer and the neutron reflection spectrometer to obtain stable neutron sources.
