Science, Technology and Innovation for Development of G20 and Other Think Tank Reports Included in UN Library

In January 2018, Science, Technology and Innovation for Development of G20 – Reports and Proposals from Think 20 Innovation Forums, the Annual Report on BRICS’ National Innovation Competitiveness Development (2017), and the Report on the Group of Twenty (G20) National Innovation Competitiveness Development (2016-2017) were officially collected by the Dag Hammarskjöld Library of the UN.
The Dag Hammarskjöld Library said the reports are valuable supplement to the UN’s library collection. The library thanked China Science and Technology Exchange Center and the team of experts led by Dr. Zhao Xinli for their contribution to the international cooperation in science, technology and innovation, and hoped it will continue to provide the UN Library with high-quality research reports.
The report Science, Technology and Innovation for Development of G20 – Reports and Proposals from Think 20 Innovation Forums collected by the UN library this time brings together research outcomes of the participants of the Think 20 (T20) Innovation Seminar in 2016, and was included in the 2016 list of “50 best policy research reports” of the Global Go To Think Tank Index Report. The Annual Report on BRICS’ National Innovation Competitiveness Development (2017) measures the comprehensive innovation competitiveness of the BRICS countries, makes forecast on their future prospect of science, technology and innovation, takes stock of the current status of scientific and technological innovation cooperation between China and other BRICS countries, sums up the experience of BRICS countries in science, technology and innovation and their respective capacity in priority areas, analyzes the problems in science and technology cooperation among BRICS countries, and puts forward relevant recommendations. The Report on the Group of Twenty (G20) National Innovation Competitiveness Development (2016-2017) was jointly compiled by Fujian Normal University, China Science and Technology Exchange Center, the Institute for International Strategic Studies of the Central Party School and other organizations. In line with the actual conditions of individual G20 countries in pursuing innovation, it sets up the index system and mathematical model for evaluating the innovation competitiveness of G20 countries, and provides reference for G20 members to enhance their national innovation capability.
