On June 12, 2023, under the witness of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Honduran President Iris Xiomara Castro Sarmiento, Minister Wang Zhigang and Honduran Foreign Minister Eduardo Enrique Reina signed the Agreement on Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Honduras. The agreement lays a foundation for China-Honduras intergovernmental cooperation on science and technology. In light of the agreement, the two sides will carry out practical cooperation on science, technology and innovation, and explore to facilitate collaborative activities such as joint research and exchange of scientist visits, thus contributing to advances in science and technology and improvement of people’s well-being of China and Honduras.
