Recently Chinese Minister of Science and Technology Wang Zhigang and Spanish Minister of Science and Innovation Diana Morant signed a cooperation agreement on scientific and technological innovation.

　　According to the agreement, both sides will continue to implement a joint funding mechanism to support collaborative research and development between companies, universities, and research centers in both countries. China and Spain will encourage personnel exchanges and visits, as well as jointly establish research, technology, and innovation cooperation platforms.
